A letter from the Co-Directors:

Dear Future Awakening Participant,

We’re planning TCU Awakening # 13 and we’re hoping you’ll attend!

Awakening # 13 will be the weekend of October 17-19. We’ll leave TCU on Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm (we can get you an official excused absence if you have a Friday afternoon class 2:30 pm or later) and we’ll return back to campus on Sunday around noon. We will not have Sunday Mass at the retreat. Instead, we’ll return to celebrate Mass with rest of the Catholic Community at 5 pm in the SC.

The Awakening is an amazing faith-filled weekend. It’s purpose is to bring each person closer to God, and to bring us communally closer to each other.

Awakening is a time for spiritual growth. At Awakening, students on the team will personally share their faith. You will have the opportunity to engage in small group discussions & enriching activities. Our hope is that you will leave the retreat with a network of other students who can help you sustain your faith when you return to campus.

The cost of the retreat is $25 per person. For $25 you get lodging, supplies, transportation and 5 scrumptious meals. What a deal!

Please make your $25 check payable to “TCU Catholic Community” and bring your check – along with your completed Registration Form (or register online)– to the TCU Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, Jarvis Hall 117. Under no circumstances do we want money to be the reason that you choose not to come to the Awakening. So if you need financial assistance, please contact Fr. Charlie.
